The Shely Pack Dancers’ award winning curriculum has a program to suit everyone. Shely has had five National Title holders including Mr. Dance of America, Miss Dance of America, and Teen Mr. Dance of America. There are special classes for pre-school age children, which are upbeat and diversified, using music they enjoy hearing. For school age children, who are mostly looking for fun, there are many class combinations of ballet, tap and jazz designed to introduce them to various dance forms in an enjoyable forum and give them the opportunity to perform as well. Finally for those students who wish to study dance seriously, there is an intensive program in place for them. Former students are appearing in Broadway shows including Wes Side Story, Spiderman the Musical, and currently JP Viernes starring as Billy Elliot in San Francisco. Two dancers from the Shely Pack Dancers have won the dance awards and $10,000 each at Beach Blanket Babylon’s annual scholarship awards. Starting at Harbor Village in the fall, the studio host adult classes in salsa and swing lessons.
